Song ?

Matthew 5:4 ESV
4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Days like this, blesssed is a feeling that feels so far away.
Today there are so many emotions that are felt
Sadness
Loss
Confusion
Anger
But not blessed.
How can God tell us that we are blessed ?
God tells us that when we are morning, We will be comforted.
The Mourning does not stay forever, He brings the comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3–5 (ESV)
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
God Brings us Comfort So that we can then help comfort each other.
today we look around at family and friends of Robert, all sharing in the grief of today.
But today you are not walking this alone, we all stand here to help and encourage one another as you are walking the paths in front of you
God also tells us that He is near to those who are broken hearted and brings comfort.
But How, How does God comfort me?
Psalm 119:50 ESV
50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.
God Comforts me by the promises that he give us in his word.
Today I want to share just a few of the more then 7,000 promises that God has recorded in the Bible we have today.

He Brings Your Peace
John 16:33 ESV
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
If We rely on God he will give us peace. Even in our toughest time
to rely on him is to put our life in his hands,
to follow his voice .
God Calls us To Come To Him
Matthew 11:28–29 ESV
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
we come to God by surrendering to Him.
By asking him to come in to our lives, to fix our messes, and to help us in our troubles
If today you have not accepted God
His help
His comfort
his forgivnesses
