Proverbs 18:24 KJV 1900
24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Title: My Friend Jesus
We all have that friend… the one you can always count on (mostly to get in in trouble).
Always there for you for the crazy stuff.
My life-long childhood friend’s name in Micheal Uzzell.
Man did we do some crazy stuff!
Got in a little trouble occasionally but mostly just crazy stuff!
I would fight the whole world with Mike and on occasion, when we had the world beat we would fight each other!
We had some crazy times together!
My kids growing up would ask me on many occations; dad tell me a Micheal Uzzell story.
Unique thing about Mike is I have not seen him but a couple times in 14 years but if he was to walk in the door right now we would pick up like it was yesterday…
I have been blessed to have an amazing friend in Mike and his little brother Steve…
As good a friend that the Uzzell boys were and are… I have even a closer friend!
He’s a friend that is closer than any friend or brother!
We never got into any trouble together… BUT he’s got me out of a lot of trouble!
There is nothing that my friend can’t do!
No trouble that he can’t help you through!
My friend Jesus can heal your body, family, marriage, job!
He can change your life!
Fix your broken heart!
Heal your troubled mind!
Bring peace to your family!
Help you on your job!
Strengthen your homed!
Some people grow on you… like a fungus!
My friend Jesus grown IN YOU!
He does take things from you…
He will take your fear.
He will take your anxiety.
He will take your depression.
He will take your suicidal thoughts.
But don’t worry because he will replace those things with:
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
My best friend Jesus wants to be the best friend you ever had!
Hebrews 13:5 (KJV 1900)
5 for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Matthew 11:28–30 KJV 1900
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
My friend wants to make a trade!
Peace for pain!
Joy for depression!
Happiness for sorrow!
Kindess for bitterness!

My friend Jesus is everything you need!
