The reality of Jesus’ kingship is revealed by Pilate’s declaration above Jesus’ crucified body. 17-22 2. Scripture is fulfilled by the choices and actions of the soldiers. 23-24 3. The compassion of Jesus for His mother reveals His earthly responsibility is coming to a close. 25-27 REVEALING THE LAMB OF GOD 4. Scripture is fulfilled by the action of Jesus. 28-30 5. Vs. 35 STATEMENTS OF FACT  Jesus fulfills all the Scripture that He is the Messiah.  Jesus accomplished the purpose of God the Father—lived a perfect life to be payment for man’s sin.  Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away your sin. BELIEVE JESUS DIED TO PAY FOR YOUR SIN. APPLICATION 1. Belief is optional and your choice. Place your faith in Christ. 2. Be compassionate in the midst of your times of greatest hard. 3. Take time to read Psalm 22 and John 19 at the same time and meditate upon Jesus the Messiah. APPLICATION 4. The truthfulness of the Bible is revealed in fulfilled prophecy. 5. Stand in awe and thankfulness of what Jesus has done for you: He took on humanity to pay the sacrifice for your sin. “BEHOLD! THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD!”
