Lk 24:13–17 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. 14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened. 15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. 16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. 17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
Lk 24:44–49 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Acts 1 Jesus had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen.
Jesus spent 40 days with them, instructing them about the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.
Acts 2:17
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Acts 2:18
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Acts 2:21
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Praying the will of God into your life…

Need the Holy Ghost, it is what connects us to the Lord.

I am the vine, you are the branches…

Mark 16
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Isaiah 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
The Lords chose tongues as a way to restore communication with believer. That’s why when we receive the Holy Ghost, the evidence is speaking in tongues. Shows that we are born again. Born of water and of Spirit.
Heard one man say, that receiving the Holy Ghost is like a shoe. It comes with a tongue.
John 3:8
“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”
Jesus said, like the wind. You don’t know if it coming or going, but you can hear the sound of it. That is how you will know if someone is born of the Spirit.
The sound is the evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost.
When the Gentiles received the Holy Ghost in Acts Chapter 10, the Jew said, “for we heard them speaking in tongues.”
They knew, because they heard.
Everyone can be born again! When we receive the Holy Spirit, we will speak in tongues. That is how we know that we have the Spirit.
What does it take to receive the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues?
1). First we have to believe that it is from God. It’s in the word. And it is for everyone.
2). You have to believe that you can get it. And once you believe you can get it, getting it is easy.
Tongues, is the entrance to the supernatural. Direct access to the Throne of God. When we pray in tongues, our spirit is crying out!
Tongues is the prayer in the New Testament. Because that is how the Lord chose to talk to His people. The gift of the Holy Ghost is for everyone!
With groaning which cannot be uttered.
Tongues gives us the ability to come boldly before the thrown of grace!
In the book of Acts, praying in tongues gives the Believers to be Kings and priests. We can usher in the presence of the Lord. It gives us the ability to be an overcomer.
More than conquers.
That’s why when we all first receive the Holy Spirit, it felt like we entered into the Garden of Eden. Felt like we were in heaven for a moment. The Very Presence of the Lord.
Even the first time we spoke in tongues, it all felt so natural. So alive in the Lord, like he already knew us. Because before he formed us, he knew us. Everything, starts to come together when we are praying in the spirit. We became alive spiritually, and we receive our spiritual language.
That’s why when we get a refilling of the Holy Ghost, we feel refreshed. Like we just had a drink from the well of Salvation. When we are praying in tongues we are building up our most Holy faith.
Praying in tongues allows us to operate in the fruit of the Spirit.
Praying in tongues allows us to pray Gods will for our lives.
Praying in tongues develops intimacy with the Lord, like walking with Him, in the cool of day.
When we pray in the Spirit, we are putting on the mind of Christ. It’s like the deep calling unto the deep!
While we pray in tongues, the Lord begins to minister to us.
Tongues allows us to have a closer walk with God!
While praying in tongues, the Lord allows us to enter into the Holy of Holies, it is the release of the Shekinah glory.
Speaking in tongues is the wind beneath your wings, as you mount up with wings of Eagles. We can soar in the currents of the Holy Ghost!
Matt 7:7,8
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
