TS: Let us examine a few questions together now.
What about injustice? [vv. 8-9]
Don’t be caught off guard or become too upset about it. God will take care of it.
Refer to Ecclesiastes 3:16-22.
What truths are found amidst tragic observations? [vv. 10-17 and 1-7]
It is not profitable to cling to or to love wealth—it does not go with you when you go. [vv. 10-15]
It is not profitable to let wealth identify your purpose—it is temporary. [vv. 16-17]
It is not profitable to be driven by the appetite of the flesh—it is never satisfied. [vv. 6:1-7]
What is good? [vv. 18-20]
To enjoy the life God gives.
Who knows what is good? [vv. 6:10-12]
God alone knows what is good for humans.
Reflective Questions:
[1] How have you sought to determine what is good for your life so far?
[2] How have you let wealth and material possessions influence your identity?
