Why do we live in a time of hysteria? Things feel unstable.
Christ can give us confidence and banish our insecurity.

1. Live in truth, not feeling.

Pg. 83 Peterson
“I just feel like we are going to win.” Championships are won in the off-season and by learning your opponent.
God is more powerful than anyone’s feeling about him.

2. Evil cannot Last.

Bullies are great teachers.
God turns opposition to weaken into opportunity to grow strong.

3. Be sure of God’s faithfulness.

Mountain climbing. We may slip and fall, but rope will hold.
