It Was Time

2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian Friends, Well Wishers, Saints of God and to this Bereaved Family When life is taken suddenly without warning reason or rhyme it shakes us up a bit. And death speaks to the finite nature of mankind. Death speaks to just how fragile life is. and Death makes us cognizant of the fact that we all must die someday. Some glad morning when this life is over the song writer said I’ll fly away. And when sister Latasha James called me and I heard the news of the passing of Tre.... I felt a weakness deep down in the pit of my spirit man. And immediately I started praying and I heard God say to me deep down in spirit man. Before you try to comfort the family just know that God doesn’t make mistakes.

The good Lord is very intentional and The Lord meant that it was time for Tre.... to come home. The scripture says that the Apostle Paul was nearing the end of his life and he said that he had fought a good fight.

I’m keenly aware that this death is not an pill to swallow. This is not an easy set of circumstances to endure. This is not easy situation to find yourself whether you’re in the will of God or not, and it’s not an easy condition to live through. But God will comfort your hearts through this hurting time. And sister Latasha God will never leave you nor forsake you especially right now. Our heavenly Father knows what we have need of.

I know I’m right about it because the bible says that the Lord is our Shepherd and He’ll take care of our wants and needs,

I know I’m right about it because Jesus said Let not your heart be troubled you believe in God believe also in me that in My Father’s house are many mansions Jesus said Tyreke Jajuan James, I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I’ll come and receive you unto my self. that where I am there you’re going to be also.

I know I’m right about it because the bible says that if this earthly house of this tabernacle be dissolved Tyreke has another building not made by the hands of man but eternal up in heaven.

Brothers and sisters Scripture is always right and God knows what He’s doing. Because the bible says absent from the body is Present with the Lord.

And I can imagine that Tyreke said when tomorrow starts without me and I’m not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me. I wish so much that you wouldn’t cry the way you did today; While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say. I Know how much you love me as much as I love you; and each time that you think of me I know you’ll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me Please try to understand that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. She said my place was ready in heaven far above; and that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away a tear fell from my eye; For all my life, I’d thought I didn’t want to die. I had so much to live for and it seemed almost impossible to leave them behind; but the angel said tell the family it’s ok because I’m with the Lord and I’ve changed my address to heaven.

And I imagine Tyreke saying If anybody want to knowmy new address it’s at 12 Gates to the City Hallelujah Avenue in the New Jerusalem, Heaven 77777. And if you want to see me again,2x make sure you know the Lord in the pardon of your sins. And family when tomorrow starts without me don’t think that we’re far a part because I’ll be right here with you in your heart. And the church said Amen.

And let me drop this in your spirit man for free while I’m preaching. “Too many people want to be the Judge and the jury, but only God is the Righteous Judge. And the church said Amen.

And so the bible says in Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

1. I heard a voice from heaven meaning that there will be some talking going on up in heaven. And if we listen we can hear from heaven too. And the way we hear from heaven is through the word of God because the bible says “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. We hear from God by hiding His word deep down in our hearts. And the church said Amen.

2. The word of Power says Write, Comma, And that means pause right there and understand what Write means. Let me see if I can explain it “You and I want the word Write to be in the text because The bible says only those whose names are written down in the Lamb’s book of Life will have Eternal Life”.

3.the Word says Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; First of all it says the Blessed and Blessed in the Greek vernacular is the word Markarios and Markarios means to be supremely blest; to be extensively blest and extremely happy.

And so when Paul says I’ve fought a good fight… it means that you and I have to have the right relationship with God. And now that you know that no man knows the day or the hour that the Lord will call our souls away then we ought to be about our Father’s Business. I know you’re young and you’re cool you’re lit, and you’re .... but God is above your coolness and we have to spend eternity somewhere.
