Walk Right Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. To begin with brothers and sisters Christian Friends well wishers and saints of God Paul is saying that Christians ought to be cognizant that our walk our lifestyles, ought to line up properly with good Christian Living. it’s easy to be in church and to talk a good game, but it’s harder to maintain Holy Christian Living.. My fortitude is to live what I say I am. because you can fool some of the people some of the time. but not all of the them all of the time .Pastors, Preacher teachers, and leaders ought to walk the way they talk. We can not walk casually and loosy goosy and here’s why a lot of people are following our example. For example: a picture is worth a thousand words. There was a picture of a 3 year old with his hand on his hips and the hose pipe in the other hand watering his parents flowers. from this picture I iinfere that the little boy previous saw at least one of his parents with theri hand on their hips with one hand and watering the flowers with the other hand.Because that’s a grown up move and he had to learn that grown up behavior. The Little boy was only emulating what he saw and was taught. I know it’s a grown up move because when I’m tired and it’s evening I water my plants with one hand on my hips too. Leaders we follow God and people follow us so let’s make sure we lead them to a glorious Gospel experience. you can’t talk what you don’t know and you certainly can’t lead where you don’t go. Walk Carefully, Walk Calculated and, Walk Circumspectly; meaning I mean to demonstrate a demeanor of devoted dedication to Good Christian Living.

Listen in today’s society the world is off kilter.it’s socially sick and sinister. The world is biologically bobbling in bombastic abasement. The world is Physically overheating like its got a chronic fever. The world is morally corrupt and can’t help itself. The world is spiritually dying a slow death and we need Jesus to come and revive us again.The church need a make over the church needs a revival. The church needs a Nicodemus moment and be Born Again. WE need Regeneration. We need a change of heart.

tuesday wednesday thursday etc are holy days too and The community ought to be able to say that you are a religiously holy person. It’s a sin and a shame not to live up to your position.The bible says walk circumspectly, not as fools but wise. If you’re in leadership you shouldn’t be foolish or feeble fumbling your faith walk on every turn. And we the church can’t change the rules to fit un holy standards of conduct. The bible teaches us how to live it says in verse 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. We can’t change the rules to fit our fancy.

Then our usher ministries has to be the fresh eyes and ears that new people see when they walk through our doors. Nobody wants to see an ugly acting usher. You’ve got to be sweet and kind. You’ve got to know that that position is bigger than you, You represent God’s first line of defense.

Then the office a fellow told me Rev you focus on and concentrate on preaching and teaching and I’ll do due diligence to administrative matters. Church just let me say this… when I was younger I would have been offended in fact I was offended by that very statement when I Pastored Mt Zion but not that I’m much older and wiser the more I spend time in the word the more I realize that that’s exactly the way the Good Lord wants me to be.Because the word has Power.. And the church said Amen. Now let me speak candidly to the leaders. God is counting on you and I’m counting on you too , to do you jobs efficiently and effectively for the growth and efficacy of the Church. And so when ever you really need wise counsel God will give me the wisdom to appropriately meet the needs of this congregation, but if you can’t trust the leadership why have it. I’m the Pastor I’m here and well learned, I’m certainly not no rookie no mo. And the church said Amen. Church Fear it not an option. The text says Walk Right. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind. God told me to preach the word in season out of season and keep preaching until the seasons come back around again.God will hold me accountable for sacred solid sound doctrine and I’ve got to know the book to be able to teach the book. For example: When I was directed to teach high school seniors Fine Arts.. I had to read up on exactly what fine arts class ought to be like. Simply put the pastor has too study the book. The bible is vast and extensive and requires prudent study and research.My main thing is to preach the word of God. And spending quality time with God is essential and necessary.Study the book!!! Paul says in verse 15 Preacher you see to it that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. And what I found out about studying the word of God is that my preaching isn’t petty or messy. but targeted towards unwarranted sins. Your Pastor ought to give you a message that isn’t messy but a message that addresses and meets the needs of the masses on behalf of the messiah. You Pastor ought to have an academic side where you know he knows the word of God very well that he’s capable, competent, and careful with God’s directives for your lives. Then your pastor ought to be spiritual enough to sir you up to make positive changes, Spiritual enough to be effective to address your moral compass your ethical compass and spiritual compass to make meaning for changes for Christian growth and development whether you like him or not. It’s not about me it’s about honoring God. I’m careful to be loving kind and nurturing towards the membership here at Shiloh MBC. And here’s a shout out moment is that I saw some of the leaders of the 4th district at the convention in Memphis. They were very appreciative of the level of excellence. And one lady specifically said Pastor Allen Man your church was wonderful and your daughter with them kids singing was just a spirit of excellence. Pastor Allen your church has a level of Spiritual Excellence. And it was in front of all kinds of big preacher and stuff. I was so proud. My chest was poked out. Like will smith says on Bad Boys Now that’s how you do that,, From now on that’s how you do that. I’m proud of you Shiloh MBC port Allen Because Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Shiloh continue to produce Good Fruit. Because Ray Helen always use to say Rev If it’s in the root it’s in the fruit. And so don’t be like the Galatians that started off doing good and then fell back wards and back slid so much so until Paul had to say Oh foolish Galatians who has bewitched you. Because you were doing good but evil crept up in there somewhere. That’s why Ephesians 5:16 says redeeming the time because the days are evil. Please listen to me The days are evil and time that has been won’t be no more. I’m 64 and I am very doubtful that I’ll live 64 more years. Because logically speaking I’d be 122 years old. And so for the record I want to say to this church and any other church I want my last days to be my best days. I refuse to have hell all the way to the end. And so I’ve got to Walk Right, and then teach you to Walk Right too because the congregation is no better than their leader. The text says Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. There was a time when normal folk could discern good from evil, right from wrong, up from down but nit anymore. In modern society, societal norms in today’s culture is so far outside of the will of God until it’s a crying shame. The late great Dr Caesar Clark said Don’t be clever be clear. If it’s a sin call it a sin because the days are evil. God said Thou shalt not have any other gods before Me. So Let me be clear and not clever trying to be a people pleaser. Just because the world says it’s ok does not mean that the word of God says it’s ok because the times are evil. Satan is the god of this world and Satan entices with devices and many f us fall trap to these devices. Ask me why? because in my flesh dwells no good thing, because the times are evil. When you look on the news all across the country we see young black children believing absurdities and then committing atrocities. I saw on the news in Memphis that a ten year was car jacking and shooting at people in the process. Whatttttt ten years old. He has felony charges at ten years old. And it’s happening all over the country and the children are mainly black and brown. Something is wrong with that picture. Church Charity begins at home.. parents are to blame form this crazy dyfunctionality in the African American community. The devil is on the rampage and we the church better get on our steady march to save this next generation. Because the times are evil. There’s nothing wrong with the ten commandments in the public schools but there is something wrong with wanting to build more prisons rather than intervention programs that will save our children because the times are evil. Paul said Redeeming the time because the days are evil.

The world seeks to dethrone God and that’s why it’s hard to hear ordinary folk say I love the Lord in public. God said thou shall not steal. In other words don’t rob God. Giving is a part of our worship and they that worship the Lord must worship Him in spirit and in truth. One commentator said holding back on your giving is like committing hwy robbery. Because God knows what’s in your pocketbook. redeeming the time because the days are evil. Church if you give right God will open doors unto you and the bible says God will pour you out blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Yes He stayed there All night Friday night. Stayed there All day Saturday. Stayed there All night Saturday Night, But Early 3x Sunday Morning He Got Up! with All Power In His Hands. Oh yes He did. Ain’t He Alright? 3x. I know He’s Alright. 3x
