he has this idea of what he think leadership and power is.

Mufashas Lessons

Responsibility-He tells Simba that being king means looking out for the well-being of all the creatures in their kingdom

The Circle of Life:-Mufasa teaches Simba about the Circle of Life, explaining that all living things are interconnected. He emphasizes that every creature has a role to play in the ecosystem and that they must respect this balance.

Courage-He tells Simba that bravery is not the absence of fear but the ability to overcome it.

Learn from your past-He advises Simba to use the past as a guide for making better decisions in the future.

Leadership and Sacrifice-He gives his life to save Simba from the stampede, demonstrating the selflessness and sacrifice that true leaders should be willing to make for the ones they care about.

Mufasha was reshaping in Simbas mind, what it really meant to be a powerful leader

The lion of Judah has long been a symbol of bravery, nobility, and strength. This symbolism is used in the bible over 150 times but is most commonly equated with the House of Judah and the descendants of the House of Judah, including Judah himself, King David, King Solomon, and Jesus.

they people waited for this king, prayed for the messiah to bring their people out from under their current oppresers

but 1700 years when the messiah actually showed up , the people the pastors didnt reconize him, in fact they killed him because

The power and authurity and strength he posessed didnt equaute to what they had been acustomed to or what they exspected

I think to many times we we have a view of power and strength that the bible back up

We equate strength with domomance while the shows us that we are to have strength that is.

under control and in our actually weakness God can make us strong.

When i was growing up i didnt know that my body was abonormally bigger than others

when i got into public school i quickly found out

i also found out that people always to test their strength against the biggest person there

Every year i calculated in my head who i was going to have to beat up one time so that others would know to leave me alone

and every fight i had to get into i remember thinking this isnt me, this is who i have to be for you to leave me alone

i developed this mean mug that i would walk around with becuase i did that maybe if i look mean enough strong enough,

you would not stop me and ask me how tall i was or how big my sho size was

or how much you weigh or my favorite line … ill still beat you up. or say i wouldnt even fight you chris id just shoot u

i began to put up a front of what i thought was strentgh so that i could protect myself

i thank God that i had people and metors around me that that showed that even though my fist were big and my arms long but i was bulit that way to love, serev and embrace others

im literlly baffled when i travel places and here what other people say when they describe me, the say things like that dude is powerful, your brave, because the reality i feel the weakest i ever have felt.

since 2020 the last the event of my life has been a serise of great wins and losses and God redeemimg and storing things that i thought were lost

ive had to discover what true strength is

it not walking boasting in your accomplishments and what i can do in my own power, but it is knowing that every that i am able to accomplish and coltivate is only because to the grace and kindness that the Lord has exstented to me

2 Corinthians 12:9-11 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Weakness provides the opportunity for God to show His power.

I want to highlight a scerno in the bible that highlights what im talking about today

Barabas verse Jesus

Jesus is on his way to death but the pharise cant killed jesus themselevs becuase it would incite a riot, which would cause the romans to get involed which would be bad for everyone

so the choose to let the romans do the dirty work for the them

they bring jesus to pilat to have the sentence jesus to death

pilot finds no wrong in Jesus and puts fortha a suggestion

on the passover it tradition that they release one prisoner

the prisoner they bring forth is barabaaas , he isnt a good guy, he is a zealt , a murder but he is the people champ

piolet give them a choice who would you rather set free

alot of people get up set with piolit in this scernio becasue he has the power, but i get more frusted with The Pharies have power they are the priest

Pharies had a understanding of scpricture and the prophcies and the messiah was not suposed to get past them

They used their power and influnece to convice the crowd to send jessu to the cross and set barrabas free

what is intresting is that in the gospel of mathew we find out barabas first name is Jesus barabas( son of the father) patriot

instead of choosing the innocent man the choose the one who will fight for them

I would say we do the same thing when we pick our leaders, we picl people whether they are in politics , work or church who sometime dont hve the charicter of godly leaders but will fight for our cause

as he storms out this guy runs pass peter , the guy has intent to rob fight organizer and with power peter has he can save him, but he refuses and goes home.

with great power comes great responsiblity

what does that mean for us ,we are called to reflect , to mirrior him
