1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
Genesis 4:7 “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.””

3 different stages of Satanic attack:
Temptation
to sin Acts 5 Ananias and Sapphira
The major sin of Ananias and Sapphira was dishonesty, deceit, hypocrisy, pretense, presenting a false image of themselves, implying a greater spirituality than they actually possessed, letting people think more highly of them than what they knew was warranted. They were more interested in appearances than in reality.
Puts ideas in our mind that we think are our own
Satan can drop ideas in our mind, and in many cases snatches the word before it can even take root.
Oppression
During my research on anxiety disorder, I found that there is a fairly common fear that people have, that would physically harm the people they love the most.
Thoughts are just thoughts and are not absolute truth,
Possession
Familiar spirits= demonic: Stay away from psychic mediums. Tarot card readers and psychics and communicating with the dead.
No such thing as friendly ghosts, casper doesn’t exist
TOP 10 Doors That Let The Enemy In
10. Rebellion
1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry.
The first sin in the garden was rebellion and it’s cost was huge
9. Anger
Ephesians 4:26–27 “do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.”
If our tongue holds the power of life and death
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
Then imagine the consequence of the tongue of a person full of anger and rage.
Some people can become violently angry at the smallest thing, they almost become a different person
you know, when you go to someones home and they have pictures and calendars hanging in the oddest places, you know, covering up the holes in the wall
Cain killed able because of anger
8. Hatred
1 John 4:20 “If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.”
7. Fear
Irrational fear, Peter falls victim to this
Luke 22:31 ““Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,”
He becomes terrified to even be associated with Jesus. deny’s knowing Jesus 3x to the point of cussing
Saul had so much fear he went crazy.
King Herod had so much fear that his thrown was in jeopardy that he had every new born male murdered in an attempt to save his position of King
6. Guilt
Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
But Satan wants you to doubt God’s ability to be able to thoroughly cleanse you and accept you
So many Christians who have confessed still live with overwhelming guilt because they don’t know the difference between cleansing and forgiveness.
Like a woman who confessed that she had an abortion, She said she’s asked for forgiveness a thousand times and still feels wretched from the top of her head to soles of her feet.
The woman was no doubt forgiven her sins but she had yet to be cleansed.
He forgives us and washes us clean, but oh how devil will stand over your shoulder whispering into your ear “unclean.”
5. Pharma and alcohol
Galatians 5:20 “idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,”
These are “The works of the flesh.”
Sorcery=Pharmaceia were we get the word pharmacy.
Pharmaceia=sorcery and witchcraft.
When we attempt to altar our conscience it is as witchcraft.
Psychedelic drugs I’m afraid are a portal to the spirit world.
4. False religions or teachings
1 John 4:1–3 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.”

3. Occultism
Divination, tarot cards, communicating w the dead,
horoscopes, New age theology, ouji boards
Leviticus 19:31 ““Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”
2. Despair and Hopelessness
If satan can get you to believe a lie, it becomes truth for you, you believe it’s the truth.
Hopelessness is NOT of God
Proverbs 23:18 “Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.”
Faith is the opposite of hopelessness
Psalm 147:11 “but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.”
Philippians 4:6–7 “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
10. Sexual Sin
concerning husbands and wives:
1 Corinthians 7:5 “Do not deprive one another, lest Satan tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”
God’s word tells us we become one with another when we have sex with them. What if that other person has demons attached to them? now you have opened yourself up to them and now your’e vulnerable
1 Corinthians 6:18 “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.”
Pornography just fans the flame of lust within you and that fire grows till its out of control and it will destroy your relationship with your spouse and put a wall between you and God
even Pastors and leaders can fall victim to this sin
Youth conference in Kansas story..
5 Truths:
1. You must be convinced of Christ’s triumph over this mess
1 John 5:5 “Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
2. You must move from darkness to light
Psalm 56:13 “For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”
1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Darkness is secrecy
3. Are you willing to whatever is necessary to be free?
Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
I’m talking complete surrender.
4. put on the full armour of God
PREPARE FOR WAR!
The helmet of salvation, the shield of faith is huge
And don’t forget your sword!
Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
5. Pray, Thank and Trust
Philippians 4:6–7 “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
