Galatians 5:13 NKJV
13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous says, “Helping others is the foundation stone of recovery. A kindly act occasionally isn't enough. We must act the Good Samaritan every day, if need be. It may mean the loss of many nights’ sleep, great interference with your pleasures, interruptions to your agenda. Chapter 7 Of Big Book of AA
Matthew 20:28 NKJV
28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

it teaches me to do something and get nothing jn return .

2. Service teaches us commitment.

3. Service helps us identify the character defects.
