The Proper Preparation (vv 26-28)

Genuine saving faith demands the proper preparation.
The sovereign work of the Spirit
God will prepare the hearts of those that will be saved before hand.
If there is no preparation then there will be no salvation.
Our jobs is to help with the preparation.
The submissive will of Philip
We must take actions when the door is open.
God will give us opportunities but we must be ready to act upon them.
2 Timothy 2:15 ESV
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
2 Timothy 4:2–5 ESV
2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
If we are not willing to submit to the will of Christ then who is going to do it.
The searching Worship of the Eunuch
People are desperate for hope and joy in their lives.
We have the keys to physical and spiritual happiness we just have to use them.

The Proper Presentation (vv 29-35)

The Presentation MUST Center of Scripture
We must base everything on what the Bible says.
The Bible is the standard of right and wrong and of Sin.
It says what is and is not a sin, not man.
It Must Center on Jesus Christ
Christ is the only one that can remove sin.
John 10:9 ESV
9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
Nothing else will save you.
It is through the blood of Christ alone.

The Proper Response (36-40)

Faith
Those who are of Christ will want to follow His leading.
Faith is not just something that we use on Sunday and then put back in the closet until the next chruch service.
It is active and always engaging.
Confession
If our faith is real then it will be confessed in our lives.
It will come out of us at all times.
Rejoicing
We will also have a rejoicing spirit for others and the things of God.
