The first lesson in stewardship is Ownership. Very important. to define who owns what, a steward but not be confuse on the matter of who owns what.
Because once that happen something is band to go wrong. who owns your house, car, children, car.?
God owns everything.
Gen 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Psalm 24:1

And the cattle on a thousand hills.
I know all the birds of the mountains,
And the wild beasts of the field are Mine.
God owns everything, that is so refereshing.
The desire to own thing outside God creates problem, not accepting that we are only stewards.
Does not allow us to approach out resources with the right mind. once you get the problem of ownership wrong the problem begins to occur. I own my life, car, children, church, etc.
There is something we should touch and go, example. rent, lease. We are looking for a place to make impacted. lost flexibility.
Own People, own your wife, husband, own their children.
We are only caretakers, the desire to own changes the dynamics of our relationship with the resources and the creator of the resources.
We also fall into the temptation of what to own our self. you see people saying my life, my mind, and I can do anything I like with it, it’s my money, car, but wait church you are a caretakes. you own nothing. a steward

Luke 12: 20-21 message bible.
“Just then God showed up and said, ‘Fool! Tonight you die. And your barnful of goods—who gets it?’
“That’s what happens when you fill your barn with Self and not with God.”
Am taking Just the soul. Excessing ownership. your life.
So, obsessed with the material things,
1cor 6: 19-20
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
One things people are learning ownership now is YOUR BODY.
You don’t even own your body. New age ideology.
When we claim ownership of anything, we will abuse the resource he has given in our disposal
He has given you money, earth, Gen 1: 28,
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

GROWTH FOCUS
Law #1: The Law of Intentionality: Growth Doesn't Just Happen
Law #1: The Law of Intentionality: Growth Doesn't Just Happen
Law 1 emphasizes that growth does not happen by accident, but rather by choice. We must intentionally prioritize our personal growth and make it a focal point. By setting this focus, we can seize opportunities for development, learn from our experiences, and continue progressing toward our potential.
Being intentional requires defining specific goals for self-improvement along with taking deliberate actions to achieve them. This involves creating strategic plans, implementing targeted strategies, and consistently taking incremental steps forward. When we are intentional about growth, we build new skills, expand knowledge, and enhance abilities over time.
What can you do today? Adopt a "growth mindset" - approach life as a curious learner rather than a "Goal-oriented person" who views goals as final destinations. Set milestones for yourself, take constructive actions, and commit to lifelong improvement. With intentionality, you become oriented toward continuous personal development and fulfillment of potential.
3. Law #2: The Law of Awareness: You Must Know Yourself to Grow Yourself
3. Law #2: The Law of Awareness: You Must Know Yourself to Grow Yourself
Law 2 highlights the significance of understanding ourselves to expand our potential. Maxwell explains that self-awareness is essential for personal growth as it allows us to recognize our strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
To become more self-aware, Maxwell suggests taking inventory of our skills, abilities, and knowledge. This involves reflecting on our past experiences, identifying our passions, and uncovering our values. By gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves, we can make informed decisions about our personal growth journey and focus on areas that align with our strengths and interests.
Furthermore, self-awareness enables us to recognize limiting beliefs or negative behaviors that may hinder our growth. By being aware of these areas, we can take proactive steps to overcome them and expand our potential.
What can you do today? Start your growth journey! "Most of the accomplishments I've achieved in life I began to attempt before I was really ready." Consider whose advice you can get to help you along the way, and who you will contact.
4. Law #3: The Law of the Mirror: You Must See Value in Yourself to Add Value to Yourself
4. Law #3: The Law of the Mirror: You Must See Value in Yourself to Add Value to Yourself
Law 3 emphasizes the importance of self-esteem in the journey of growth. It suggests that you must see value in yourself to add value to yourself. Many people hinder their personal development because they do not believe they are worthy of success or capable of achieving it. Overcoming these mental barriers is crucial. Improving how we view ourselves opens up the possibility of substantial growth.
What Can You Do Today?
To nurture a positive self-image. Use affirmations. Start by identifying negative beliefs you hold about yourself and challenge them with positive counterstatements. For example, if you often think, "I am not good enough to succeed," replace that thought with, "I have unique talents and abilities that will lead me to success."Another effective approach is to keep a 'success journal.' Every day, write down something you did well, a challenge you overcame, or a new skill you learned. This practice helps you to focus on your achievements and strengths, reinforcing a positive self-image.Engaging in activities that build your skills and knowledge can also boost your self-esteem. When you learn something new or improve a skill, it reinforces your sense of competence and worth.Lastly, surround yourself with people who uplift and believe in you. The company you keep can significantly influence your self-perception. Seek out friends, mentors, or colleagues who encourage you and recognize your value. Their positive reinforcement can be incredibly powerful in changing how you see yourself.
5. Law #4: The Law of Reflection: Learning to Pause Allows Growth to Catch up With You
5. Law #4: The Law of Reflection: Learning to Pause Allows Growth to Catch up With You
Law 4 is foundational in understanding the role of introspection in personal growth. John Maxwell emphasizes the necessity of learning from our past experiences to forge a more successful future. Reflecting on our past isn't just about revisiting memories; it's a strategic exercise to extract valuable lessons and insights that inform our future choices and actions.
To effectively engage with the Law of Reflection, it is crucial to set aside dedicated time for thoughtful assessment of past experiences. This reflective practice should involve introspective questions that delve deep into our experiences and their impact on our growth journey. Some powerful questions to consider include:
What is my biggest asset and how has it contributed to my successes? What is my biggest liability and how has it hindered my growth? What has been the highest point in my journey so far and what made it so?What has been my lowest low and what did I learn from that experience? How have my experiences shaped my current goals and aspirations?"
