These two churches we have taken groups to for conferences and such

When the news broke......It was a big blow to all of us

Two pastors I have always had lot of respect for

It was like man I wish I could preach like that.....or man they have everything in such perfect order.....I wish I could live like that.....their churches seem so perfectly run

I know so many different emotions were going around and I can’t even imagine social media......but for me it was just like a stomach punch and then mourning it seemed

For probably the first time that I can remember in a long time....I found myself asking God why?

Why did you let this go down this way? So many people have gotten saved in these ministries......so many people have gotten help in these ministries.....so many churches encouraged by these ministries.....Lord why didn’t you reveal this at first…why now?

Then there’s the ones who have been hurt.....Lord how will you get everyone through this now? What about those in the world looking from the outside in?

So I’ve just been in a kinda in a fog ......but meditating with the Lord to help me.....help us

And to tell you.......I don’t even know how and when the Lord put this message in place for toady......how I even came to it

Isaiah 53:1 NLT

1 Who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?

That’s kinda the question that followers of Christ and the church is asking

But yet the focus has to go back on the Lord........He is the only help.....He is the only true judge.....He is the only One to put the pieces back to together...

And He is powerful at that.......God created the universe with His fingers

Psalm 8:3 NLT

3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place—

He delivered Israel from Egypt with His powerful hand

But saved sinners by baring His mighty arms

Isaiah 53:2 NLT

2 My servant grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.

Every life ......and everything seems to start with such innocence right?

Isaiah 53:3 NLT

3 He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

Isaiah 53:4 NLT

4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!

5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

You know when Jesus was condemned to death on our behalf all the crowds came out to watch.....to shout.....to spit

Eventually every single act of every personality of every person.......every inner thoughts of their own righteousness was fixing to be judged and paid for

Every bit of hurt people would take on......Jesus was whipped for

Isaiah 53:6 NLT

6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.

The Innocent Servant died in the place of the guilty

Jesus took the place of the guilty (us all) and paid the price of salvation for (us all)

The Servant is God here......yet He becomes human and grows up

Isaiah 9:6 NLT

6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The child that was born to us.......the humanity

The Son given for us.....His deity

How in the world did God restore and use Peter who denied Jesus 3 times

15 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all.

Romans 3:19–20 NLT

19 Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God. 20 For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.

And this which is the huge mystery as well......Israel.....the Jews......they were God’s chosen.....in fact entrusted with the whole revelation of God.....yet failed His commandments.....rejected His Son who was the answer to the failed commandments.......but still has a plan to redemption

21 But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. 22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
