Introduction: Friends, this week we have considered that it’s the Holy Spirit that makes our times together so good and that in addition to the Holy Spirit drawing us together we also come together because we have the most in common with other believers than we do with anyone else. Last night we looked at how we are to use our words when we’re together. Tonight, we’re going to talk about our actions.
Ephesians 6:1-3 “1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), 3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.”
Ephesians 6:4 “4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”
