Psalm 5:10 “Make them bear their guilt, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out, for they have rebelled against you.”
Put them in fear, O LORD! Let the nations know that they are but men! (9:20)
Psalm 10:2 “In arrogance the wicked hotly pursue the poor; let them be caught in the schemes that they have devised.”
Psalm 10:14 “But you do see, for you note mischief and vexation, that you may take it into your hands; to you the helpless commits himself; you have been the helper of the fatherless.”
Psalm 18:7 “Then the earth reeled and rocked; the foundations also of the mountains trembled and quaked, because he was angry.
Psalm 17:13 “Arise, O Lord! Confront him, subdue him! Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword,”
Psalm 21:12 “For you will put them to flight; you will aim at their faces with your bows.
Chronicles of Naria: Lucy asks if Aslan is safe, ”Safe?" said Mr. Beaver."Who said anything about safe? 'Course he isn't safe. But he's good. He's the King, I tell you."
Mr. Tumnus also says, "He's wild, you know. Not a tame lion."

Renew the Mind (the Scriptures):
What caught your attention in this section?
Which verses or words would you like to study a little more this week?
Engage the Heart (humility vs. pride):
In what ways has your understanding of God been challenged, either in a “blow your mind” way or “I need to think this through a little longer”
Did your heart and mind gravitate more to the Psalms that described Him as the mighty warrior and conquoring king or the compassionate shepherd of your soul that inclines his ear to your cry? Because He is perfectly both!!!
Enilist the Body (faith steps):
Share with somone before the end of today, “What Have I learned about God as we have gone through the Psalms”.
Transitional phrase: The great thing about Scripture, is that it not only renews our minds but also engages our hearts to grow.

We do not expect people to be perfect, but we do want them to be prepared when they lead us in singing. We have challenged them to come to practice to lead the songs, not learn them.
