What is Christian manner on talking ?
Christian manner in talking refers to using speech that aligns with Christian values and reflects the character of Jesus Christ. This involves being mindful of the words we use, the tone in which we speak, and the intentions behind our communication.
Here are some key principles and practical tips for maintaining Christian manner in talking:
Speak with Love:
Key Verse: Ephesians 4:15 - "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ."
Practical Application: Ensure that your words are motivated by love and concern for others, avoiding harsh or hurtful speech.
Use Kind/Dayalu Words:
Key Verse: Proverbs 16:24 - "Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones."
Practical Application: Use words that are gentle, encouraging, and uplifting. Avoid sarcasm, mockery, or demeaning language.
Few days back brother Sonam gave a sermon on topic cross in his sermon when he was addressing the gift of holy spirit (toung) he used the word **** which left many beliver in confusion. But to let you know that perticular word has duel test, meaning that is nither sweet nor sour it totally depend on the narrator’s emotion’s of speech the particulr part in which he used the word was emphesizing only in the gifts of toung where as there are many gifts of spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11 “Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit, and there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord, and there are varieties of activities, but the same God, who works all things in all people. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for what is beneficial to all. For to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing of spirits, to another kinds of tongues, to another interpretation of tongues. But in all these things one and the same Spirit is at work, distributing to each one individually just as he wishes.”
la ma cha ba ta word may not make sense for who does not have this gift it or value it, but it surely does who are able to communicate with in this toung.
Galatians 5:22–23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such things there is no law.”
If you think spritual Gift make no sense to you then
III
1 Corinthians 2:14–16 “But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. Now the spiritual person discerns all things, but he himself is judged by no one. “For who has known the mind of the Lord; who has advised him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
There is no forgiveness for blasphemy against Holy spirit
Matthew 12:31–32 (LEB)
For this reason I tell you, every sin and blasphemy/ninda will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven! And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him either in this age or in the coming one!
Those words were spoken in the presence of the lord may the good Lord be Judge if he has spoke wrong may God forgive him and bless him wisdom of spritual realm. if any beliver still has confusion may the helper (holy spirit) teach you.
Be Honest and Truthful:
Key Verse: Ephesians 4:25 - "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body."
Practical Application: Always speak the truth, but do so in a way that is considerate and constructive. Avoid lying or exaggerating.
It is not wrong to declare black a black or white a white but in doing so if your word is going to hurt someone you sholud be careful in selecting the right word that will correctly and softly define your meaning.

Listen Before Speaking:
Key Verse: James 1:19 - "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry."
Practical Application: Take the time to listen carefully to others before responding. This shows respect and helps avoid misunderstandings.
Key Points:
Be Quick to Listen:
Listening demonstrates respect and love. When we truly listen, we show others that we value their thoughts and feelings.Proverbs 18:13 (NIV) says, "To answer before listening—that is folly and shame."
Let’s cultivate the habit of listening carefully before forming a response.
Slow to Speak:
Speaking hastily/hurriedly can lead to misunderstandings and conflicts. Thoughtful speech, on the other hand, builds bridges and promotes understanding.Proverbs 10:19 (NIV) reminds us, "Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues."Reflect before you speak to ensure your words are wise and uplifting.
Listening Reflects Christ's Character:
Jesus was a master listener. He took time to hear people’s stories and understand their needs before offering wisdom and healing.By listening, we follow His example and create space for empathy and compassion in our interactions.
Avoid Gossip and Slander:
Key Verse: Proverbs 20:19 - "A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much."
Practical Application: Refrain from speaking negatively about others behind their backs. Speak directly to people if you have concerns or issues.
Encourage and Build Up:
Key Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 - "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
Practical Application: Focus on encouraging and affirming others, highlighting their strengths and achievements. Offer support and positive reinforcement.
Be Humble and Gentle:
Key Verse: Colossians 4:6 - "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."
Practical Application: Speak with humility, acknowledging that you don't have all the answers. Be gentle in your approach, especially in disagreements.
Avoid blasphemous or adult and Crude Jokes:
Key Verse: Ephesians 5:4 - "Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving."
Practical Application: Avoid using language that is vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate. Instead, use speech that is respectful and wholesome.
Practice Patience and Restraint:
Key Verse: Proverbs 15:1 - "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
Practical Application: Respond calmly and patiently, even in heated situations. Avoid reacting impulsively or in anger.
Pray for Guidance:
Key Verse: Psalm 141:3 - "Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips."
Practical Application: Pray regularly for wisdom and self-control in your speech. Ask God to help you use your words wisely and effectively.
By incorporating these principles into daily conversations, Christians can ensure that their manner of speaking honors God, promotes peace, and reflects the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
