Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.
Thus I have been in your house twenty years; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times.
Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in to her.”
And Laban gathered together all the men of the place and made a feast.

Fulfill her week, and we will give you this one also for the service which you will serve with me still another seven years.”

2 - Jacob’s name changed to Israel after a wrestling match with God’s messenger. Jacob persisted in getting blessed by God.
3 - Jacob served Laban for twenty years; but, Laban cheated Jacob of his initial agreement: Jacob was to work seven years for Rachel whom he loved at first sight. Instead Laban presented Leah to Jacob at the end of the seven years. Laban had given a feast for the men in the area and they drank and ate. Then that morning Jacob woke up to Leah and he was shocked. Jacob expected Rachel. Laban knew that the custom of the region or country where he lived was to give the first born in marriage before any other daughter. Leah was the first born!
4 - Jacob loved Rachel so he agreed to work another seven years for Laban.
