Introduction

I. God the Father - Trinity

Jesus(son) - talked about His Father and did as His Father directed Him to do

App: God doesn’t need anything - perfect harmonius, unified relationship in the unity

II. God the Father - Creator

A. Creator

Isaiah 64:8–9 ESV

But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Be not so terribly angry, O Lord, and remember not iniquity forever. Behold, please look, we are all your people.

Psalm 139:13–14 ESV

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

B. Originator - Gen 12 - calling of Abraham....

Deuteronomy 14:1–2 ESV

“You are the sons of the Lord your God. You shall not cut yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads for the dead. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Acts 17:24–27 ESV

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,

III. God the Father - Redeemer - Personal

Israel - Egypt - redeemed by God through Moses

Jesus comes to us, dies for us and rises again to return to His Father

While on earth he tells this story/parable in Luke 15

Prodigal Son

App: God is available for all of us to come to Him through Jesus

By faith in Jesus, we are adopted into God’s family

Forgiven, redeemed(set free), accepted and belong

2. We then have full, confident acees to the Father
