Overcoming Is My Portion

Luke 22:42; Matthew 28:5-8; Colossians 1:19-24
Steadfast = Loyalty, joint obligation, faithfulness, goodness, graciousness, Godly Action, prepare, make ready, erect, setup, determine, fix, appoint.
Will = To desire, hope, design, purpose, resolve, determine.
God does whatever He pleases to do; we must align ourselves with His Will being done, not mine. Luke 22:42 “42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.””
Very familiar text, but do we see The Power in what Jesus said? I know life may have gnawed at your faith, causing you to become unsettle in The Plan God has for you, His Will for your life and these storms you have encountered on this journey has beaten you, tossed you to and fro, and it seems as if there is no end in sight - But God!
Jesus provided us The Ultimate Example of how to live in the flesh, in the world systems, but yet be Holy and acceptable, which is our reasonable service - Matthew 23:12 “12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
The reason we allow ourselves to become unsettled in our minds, which is not due to circumstances surrounding us, or what has been done to you, it is predicated on your propensity to respond from a Faith perspective, and not a fleshly one.
Many become unsettled when you don’t react to their treatment of you, and remain in Joy and on purpose - God had to send the New Covenant, because what was written on your heart previously, was tainted by the rebellion of the fathers before, and reminded you mostly of your faults, Jeremiah 31:31–34“31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.””
There are no excuses now, because God wants you to remember His Victory over sin, death, hell and the grave - His Will is that you realize that The Mystery has been revealed and because you believe, you are redeemed!
Y’all, I have to continue in this series because I need it myself, I need to be reminded of His Power daily, not that I die daily, but remember The Victory daily, because The Victory is perpetual, His Blood never loses His Power, and I cannot allow what I have gone through, or going through, to weaken the knowledge of what He done for me!
Matthew 28:1–4“1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.
God has sent an Angel down, Whom has rolled away the covering of that cave I had myself trapped in, and has given me the authority to come out and move on, but because of what I had to go through, it seems as if the “hag” is riding me, where I cannot move from this place!
But that is just it, I’m looking from “It’s Impossible” perspective, so now my faith/Joy/Hope, is in question, becasue it does not look like what You said, Lord - You said that You will be with me, always - Why so much heartache, disappointment, struggling, difficulties, pains (I’m coming into someone cave and bringing you out), lack, no return, slow return, etc. . . I believed Your Word, but it does not look like The Joy I had, when I first believed, I heard what you said God, but it does not appear to be as I expected - Matthew 28:5–10“5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.” 8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. 9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.””
The Angels says to not be afraid - One of the things that I have been working on, for most of my life, is “Patience”
Impatient thinking promotes fear, which brings in doubt. . . Fear is torment. . .
but God - John 20:2 “2 Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.””
Said to me, “Son, it looks like what you believed has been taken, and moved out of reach, but if you change your perspective, and remember My Word that I have given you, you will see, that He Lives!”
I lift my hands in total adoration unto You
You reign on the throne, for You are God and God alone
Because of You my cloudy days are gone
I can sing to You this song
I just want to say that I love You more than anything
I Love You Jesus
