The title is

Building Strong

Matthew 7:21–29 NKJV
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
You cannot build strong if you say one thing but do another!
Many will Say…
Words are easy to say, backing them up with action is where the rubber meets the road.
Jesus’s response to the tongues, was simple and clear
“I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.”
Your foundations are cracking because you say one thing but live life contrary to what you say, there fore when the storm hits you shall be washed away… God is giving us the key to a strong house.
Therefore whoever hears these words and does them.
2 actions hears… learns, listens with the intent to follow and obey, and then does them… puts them into practice… actually walks them out.
Are we hearers and not doers? are we doers and not hearers?
Will your house still stand after the storm?
Jesus taught these things as one having authority. You can’t fake authority, Authority comes from a place of power and empowerment that only those who have actions to back their words carry!
James 2:18 NKJV
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
