remember saying anxiety and depression are twins?
talk about battling this mentally what it did…
depression is not just feeling sad or down but its being in constant darkness…
you have no feelings after awhile, you have no hope, you have no light
christ is our light = we shut him out…
whats sad as that while i was battling this i really couldn't go to anyone, or so it felt that way
because like we talked about last week

Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad.

we can on identify with this message in fact we might be going duh
the last part however i understand if its frustrating…
I wanna remind you that this is the Word of God. The inspired truth of God.
And if that last part feels a little bit too simplistic today, it is my prayer that somehow by the power of God's Word,
that a good word might just bring a little bit of hope, and a good word might just bring a little bit of healing.
pray…
talk about the game i talked about the two truths and a lie = todays message is called two truths, no lie…

but i can talk about the Spiritual aspect…
myths we busted last week and one of things we learned is that just because you might not be mentally healthy doesn't mean your not a christian/child of God, it just means your human
to show this i want to talk about another man of God this week…
last week we talked about Heman = speak on Heman
we will talk about another prophet, a man of God, who heard from God, talked to the people about what God told hi to say, he represented God
we are talking about Jeremiah here today and we will be looking in the book of lamentations chapter 3…
build context
Solomon’s temple (tribute to God) (stood for roughly400 years)— until being Destroy by Babylon in 587 BC
Jeremiah witness (Murr)—Loved ones killed. Fam deport. Suffer
maybe like some of you today, youve gone through it = we talked about the root causes and maybe thats you…
Jeremiah was depressed and i want to read to you some verses and he descirbes for us his feelings…
I am the man who has seen affliction
under the rod of his wrath;
he has driven and brought me
into darkness without any light;
he has besieged and enveloped me
with bitterness and tribulation;
he has made me dwell in darkness
like the dead of long ago.
He has walled me about so that I cannot escape;
he has made my chains heavy;
though I call and cry for help,
he shuts out my prayer;
my soul is bereft of peace;
I have forgotten what happiness is;
so I say, “My endurance has perished;
so has my hope from the Lord.”
Remember my affliction and my wanderings,
the wormwood and the gall!
My soul continually remembers it
and is bowed down within me.
preach on this…
How did he get here? Prophet! Loved God
Totally—Broken—Lost—Hopeless
Circumstantial—Home destroy—Family kill/deport. Spiritual—Feels like G let down—What do you do?—No hope

Jeremiah depressed—Turns to God!
But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
