The Consummation of Love

I had a thought the other night. I thought about my children and the LORD gave me this clear revolation in my mind.
EVEN if they are awfull one day, and do all kinds of wrong. Every night i put them to bed, im smitten in love with them, and every morning i’m ovecome with my love for them.
This is the LOVE of our GOD and our LORD Jesus and His Holy Spirit for each and every one of His Children.
I want my kids to do well, and to follow rules, to learn and to grow as good God’ley children. but even when they fail (like i do), my love and my gace never runs out or runs down for them.
They are mine, and i LOVE them with everything in me.
They are mine....

The New King James Version (Chapter 4:17-19)

The Consummation of Love
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.

REMINDER: the purpose of the Epistle of 1 John

13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

People like this quote:

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,
The issue is this verse is that it’s one of the most miss used verses in the NT.
This quote says in context: The Love of God is perfected in us when: when the day of judgement comes. We wont faint or fall in fear but we will be overcome with joy. “Becouse as He is, so are we in the world”.

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

John is saying there’s no fearing Christ and His comming, becouse fear is a tormetor, and fear makes sick and steals joy and peace. Fear is contrary to the fuits of the Holy Spirit and thus to God.
Instead, John says: if you fear that day. . Please investigate yourself. you might have other things in your life you fear loosing more than youre wish for the Lords return. You might hold your life in higher esteem than HIM.
Love Gives Us Confidence as We Await the Day of Judgment (1 John 4:17–18)
John shifts gears and changes direction at this point. He wants to bring into the discussion both the subject of judgment (v. 17) and the subject of fear (v. 18). Loving others out of gratitude for how we have been loved in Christ has consequences not only for the present, but also for the future.
The New King James Version (Chapter 4:18)
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
The New King James Version (Chapter 2:28-29)
28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.
The New King James Version (Chapter 4:19)
19 We love Him because He first loved us.
The New King James Version (Chapter 3:3)
3 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!
Exalting Jesus in 1,2,3 John (Love Gives Us Confidence as We Await the Day of Judgment (1 John 4:17–18))
The argument John has built to this point is powerful. It runs something like this: loving others (vv. 7, 11–12), possessing the Spirit (v. 13), confessing the Son (v. 15), and mutually abiding in God and His love (vv. 15–16) bring God’s love to its full and intended goal, its perfect purpose in our lives.
Two wonderful purposes of that goal are confidence when I stand before God on judgment day (v. 17)
and the complete absence of fear at that time (v. 18).
How is this possible?
The answer is because on that day when you stand before God He will see you as He sees His dear Son. The love of God will have done its perfect work as it is applied to that day when we stand before God.
