Imagine Jesus standing before you and saying, "everyone who beholds Me, the Son of God and believes in Me will have eternal life from that moment, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." Five minutes later you are asked if you were to die today would you KNOW you have eternal life? We hope your reponse would not me "I'm not sure, Jesus promised, but I'm not sure". Jesus is more trustworthy than your own heart!
