Third, unforgiveness gives Satan an open door.

Forgiving others also frees the conscience of guilt. Unforgiveness not only stands as a barrier to God’s forgiveness but also interferes with peace of mind, happiness, satisfaction, and even the proper functioning of the body.
John F. MacArthur

Breaking the Chains of Unforgiveness

Ephesians 4:31-32

Summary: Ephesians 4:31-32 teaches us to get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

This sermon can help Christians break free from the chains of unforgiveness and experience the freedom and healing that comes from forgiving others.
Teaching: This sermon teaches us the importance of forgiveness in the Christian life. Just as God has forgiven us through Christ, we are called to forgive others and let go of bitterness and anger.
