Adolf Hitler sanctioned the murder of 11 million people,
including 6 million Jews.
When you read/watch about the horrific things that took place,
it’s hard to imagine that something like that happened within the last 80 years.
Initially though, Hitler seemed like a trustworthy leader,
who had Germany’s best interest as heart.
His slogan might have been, “Make Germany Great Again!”
He believed non-German people were the cause of their problems,
so when he came to power he worked to remove them from the country,
to make more for German people.
The German people trusted Hitler because he was a great speaker…
but many didn’t truly know or understand what was going on.
Hitler tried to keep the concentration camps a secret,
Most people thought these people were being relocated, not murdered!
After the war, the American military forced those living around the concentration camps to walk through them.
There’s a video that shows the people walking into the camp.
They are happy, and have smiles on their faces…
clearly unaware of what took place inside.
On the way out they’re not smiling anymore.
They now saw what caused the smoke to rise from the chimneys of those camps,
and witnessed what the leaders they allowed into power had done.
Summary
These people had been led astray by the wrong leader.
They ignored the rumours, the warning signs,
and blindly followed along.
They were deceived through clever talk.
