Eph 3:16-19

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

How much of God do you want?

§ It’s hard to quantify this

§ The efects are quantifiable – attitude, devotion

§ Accomplishments for the kingdom of God

§ Most of all what you are willing to do to get more of God

How Much God Do you want?

· First Step we all must believe that God is real

· Sometimes we forget, act if if we forgot

· We look at the shape of the world and sometimes lose focus

· We begin to get into rut worship, not fervent worship

· We begin to listen o the well known people who don’t belive in God

Ps 53:1

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.

§ We must get away from foolish people , stop admiring them

§ We also have to be careful of people who say they know God, but not following the Bible

Prov 30:12

12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

§ They are lost and need more of God to reveal to them the real way

§ They get this way from looking at other Christens in the clubs and doing un Godly things

§ Some just think once saved always saved and they are free to Sin

Rom 6:1-2

6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

§ You should want enough God for him to delight in you

Do you want enough God that he is Lord over every aspect of your Life?

· Some people don’t want God to be dominate in their lives

· John said I must decrease that he might increase

· Some of us don’t have room enough to get more of God, because we are too full of ourselves.

· The Lord is my shepherd

· But is her really Lord over everything

· Tongue, - things you say (gossip, harsh words)

· finance, - tithes and offering

· life style, - sin , woman leave, man leave

· dress – God tell you how to dress moderately , follow the fashions

· time - spend your time , family, tv, gambling,

· Material needs, - seek ye fisrt the kingdom of god …..

· Friendships --- Come from among them and be ye separated

· Mind - Let this mind be in you

· Body – Present your body a living sacrifice

· Marriage mate – Be not unequally yoked with unbeliever

· If the answer is Yes – then the next question is Key

· What are you willing to do to get more of God ?

· Are you willing to pay the price to have more of God ?

· God’s anointing on your life costs

· Little dab will do you don’t work

· People wants to accomplish something , basketball

· Practice, body in condition, shots

· What do we do consistently to get more of god, gods anointing

· What it but don’t want to do anything for it, power

· This has to do with resolve, sacrifice and determination

· This can be quantified

· Are you willing to fast

· Are you willing to pray earnestly?

· Are you willing to suffer

· Suffer for him, lonely – joy in suffering - Drink the cup of Jesus

· Life style pleasing to God – God doesn’t pull out his spirit on junk,

· there are levels to climb, conditioning, proving periods

· I want to deal with the resolve aspect

· When facing the enemy in a war , they are concerned about your strength, you technology, but also your resolve

· The vitinamnam war was lost, not because of our technology, numbers of troops (we were not outnumbered

· It was our resolve, more the resolve of the enemy

· They would never give up, they were willing to have 10 of their men killed just toget one of ours, they were relentless, setbacks in mission, didn’t set back their resolve to win

· Lost of a battle didn’t cut back their resolve to go on

· Lost of friends, relative, didn’t deter their resolve to win

· How much God do you want, what are you personally willing to do/take ?

· Do you have limits based on situations

· Hunger, what’s on the schedule art work, test this week,

· Relationship – to know some as a friend was one thing

· Know me as her husband was another

· To know Jesus just as a being, know him as Lord, Savior, Friend , Healer, Brother

· If you have the resolve, then God can bless you according to the text

· All dimensions of God, Love, Charter, Power, experience

· Wide, long, deep, and High

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

· I want the fullness of God

· Less of me and more of God

· Need the Holy Ghost
