God’s people are opposed for proclaiming the resurrection (Acts 22:30-23:1, 6-9)
Intently- “Concentrated manner; focus like laser beams.” Greek -” To look gazely or fixed upon.
Bold not scared. Prov 28:1.
Conscience - “Human capacity to reflect upon the degree to which one’s behavior has conformed to moral norms.”
General Rev. Romans 2:15 “in that they demonstrate the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,”
I’m a pharisee… - Philippians 3:4–6 “although I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more: circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.” . “Paul’s identification with the Pharisees was an attempt to divide the Sanhedrin” Thomas.

2. God’s people are strengthened by His presence (Acts 23:10-11)
Tribune - “Commander of an ancient Roman cohort, a military unit ideally comprising 1,000 men.”
Courage - 2 Corinthians 1:3–5 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” Genesis 50:20 ““As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to do what has happened on this day, to keep many people alive.”
God’s timing is always on time.
3. God’s people are protected through His providence (Acts 23:12-17,22-24)
Conspiracy - Just like Jesus, must be doing something right. “The problem with preachers today is that nobody wants to kill them.” Lawson
Nephew - Not sure how he heard (through God’s providence “God’s benevolent and wise superintendence of His creation.”) but immediately reacts. 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but show yourself as a model to those who believe in word, conduct, love, faith, and purity.”
God’s promises are a sure thing.
