The use of in the beginning was intentional! You can see in Genesis 1:1-3

1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

the world is made in a 6 litteral day creation not anyting else

Commentors on this passage dicuss how long ago, saying about 6000 years, but this has some play, not 10s of thousands of years

Sin does not ruin natural relationships and conditions, Sin makes you spirituall dead, which leads to phyiscal death. It is becaus of orginal sin that we die the physical death. Becaus god created the natural world all things testify of him.

So Christians have two books, 1) bible 2) nature - and both testify of him.
