Purposefully Chosen!

How often do you become unsettled, because you look pass the current moment and be more concern about what tomorrow will bring? Some of you are so focused on next week, and have already made a decision about that, not realizing it manifests in your current!
We don’t know what tomorrow may bring, but some of us allow how what we think it may bring, show up today!
Which is why most are dejected, depressed, hopeless, isolated, unsettled, and without joy for Today!
You have been selected, Purposefully Chosen for this day, because you are alive to see it! “It Is Another Day’s Journey and I’m So Glad About It!”
He Gave me food to eat
Clothes on my back
A right mind
How can I be perplexed - broken - down - disgusted? Because I don’t have what I use to have? Stuff. . .
God has chosen you for this, He has brought you this far and has/is/will provide for for you along the journey - It’s amazing how we can travel many miles and not worry about gas because we know that there are gas stations along the way - Make it Spiritual, Pastor Hudson, I think I will - As I go along this way, I know there may be long journeys, and I may need to pull over for a fill-up, but I know that I won’t run empty because He is with me always!
God has chosen you for this day - Psalm 118:23–24 “23 This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Yes, He Did It! Who, Me?” Only Lady Hudson understands that inside joke, but as I was preparing this morning and began reading in Romans 1:1 “1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God
Chosen = The elect, the selected, the favored, the choice, the person picked out. . .
It is better to be selected by God, than by man, because when God has picked you out, He has done so with parameters in place that will keep you from all hurt, harm and danger - Job 2:6 “6 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”” Job 1:9–10 “9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.”
Man will pick you out - And leave you out! Look at how satan speaks to God, concerning Job (You), he ain’t worrying about your faithfulness, he is trying to weaken your faithfulness, but becasue God has these parameters in place, he can only go but so far and we have the evidence of things not seen, so we have the upper hand because satan is too dumb to realize that God has already given us strategy!
Someone says, how is that? 1 Corinthians 10:13 “13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
The strategy is found in His Word, and because I know I am on purpose, and have been predestined to this moment in this life, I know that God is with me, always! Matthew 28:20 “20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
“And Lo” - God says that this means, “And Know” - Mature faith comes from previous experiences of God’s Mercy and Grace manifested - Regardless of what this may look like now, “And Know” that this too, will pass!
Because He never fails - And I know that He is with me always, even unto the ends of the age; therefore, I obey His Commands, even though it may be rough - difficult - uncertain, God has Purposefully Chosen me, so I continue on!
How is it that satan is so comfortable being in God’s Presence, and is consistent about it as well, but yet, we as believers, need to have everything in order before we come fully into His Presence?
he literally is having a conversation with God concerning you - I see them, but You keep them hedged in, so I know that I cannot get to them because You have them hedged in, but what if you take the things that they can see away from them, are they sure of themselves, enough in You, that they will remain faithful?
You are becoming frustrated because God has Selected You!
Don’t be destroyed because you have been considered - Rejoice!
You are excited when they consider you for the job!
Consider you for the promotion!
You should be even the more excited when God is conversing with satan, and calls your name, considering you!
Paul says; Romans 1:16–17 “16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.””
Yes, I may have this, or I may have that, but none of the “this or that” compares to being considered by God!
1 Corinthians 15:9–12“9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. 12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
My past won’t hinder me any longer - I know I was a cusser - drinker - whoermonger - whatever you past was, but because of His Grace - I am what I am, and there is no shame in me! But because I believe and therefore now know that His Grace is sufficient for me, I will rejoice! I’ve Been Selected! There is no shame in my game! I know that I am in the will of God, therefore I will finish what I started!
I will be great, because He says so!
