Objective: Understanding God’s Holiness

God is holy and they are set apart

Problem: Why would someone go on a journey to be made well aware they are not enough?

Solution: God’s Holiness is problematic for a sinner because it will not tolerate subpar. However, He is the answer for sinners through Jesus Christ because of his holiness.

God is the problem for a sinner but He is the answer for a sinner because of his holiness

Observations about Holiness:

Among God’s characteristics that He shares about himself, non are more significant then His Holiness

Holy and Holiness occur more than 900 times in the scriptures

Almost anything can become holy if it is separated from the common and devoted to God.

When we misunderstand God, we Project on God. Creating an unrealistic expectation of Him.

Priscilla and Aquilla misunderstood God

You can’t approach Him how you want otherwise you may find yourself disappoionted

When you realize you are less than you understand your need for your Creator

We approach Him how He wants. With humility
