NO doubt

Luke 8:22–25 KJV 1900

22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Belief

We have to believe what our Bible has to say( I believe everything my Holy Bible has to say)

We believe what Jesus has to say and has said(He made a Promise)

“Let us go over unto the other side of the lake”

Do you think the disciples believed what Jesus told them here?

Doubt

Here they Doubted they could make it to the other side

When you doubt go to the source of knowledge

it causes us to find out the truth

when we find the truth it increases our faith

the more we know of God’s word the more we can trust in Him

Why do you think they had doubt that they would make it to the other side?

Storms in life

We are going to have these.

Who do you go to when you have storms in life your parents-God?

your parents want to help you and so does God - God wants what is best for you - salvation trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour

Faith

To believe that God will move mountains

That God will always take care of us

John 20:30–31 KJV 1900

30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Romans 10:17 KJV 1900

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Will your faith in Jesus deliver you?

We see how Jesus Delivered on His promise to go to the other side they made it safely, Jesus told them they would go to the other side

26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. 27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

Jesus said He was the truth and the life

John 14:6 KJV 1900

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

We know JESUS is the only way!!!
