Story
2011- Paul Koonce- Tricked into first trip as needed to help with youth.
Kalulu. - one of first homes I preached to. Young man accepted Christ- spoke perfect English. Godfrey is now our local leader. His network of churches is training 12 new pastors. Started several new churches. Baptizing between 300-400 a year. A leader in the national convention. A great evangelist, pastor and teacher.

2016- Took Paul Koonce on his last trip as he was close to end of his battle with cancer.
2016- I inherited a ministry that had been Bro. Paul's life ministry.
How do I raise money? How do I not let down our pastors? How do i financially pull it off. 3 feeding centers. many pastors. Educating Moses fund that sent pastors children to private schools. Churches that were started in 4 different areas of the country.
God brought in an amazing mission partner with SOZO ministries out of Dallas metro area.
He was an expert in helping international ministries become self supportive.
He also brought with him the use of 4-Fields Church Planting Strategy.
Old Model- We would show up in new area. Do all the evangelizing. Baptize new believers. Start a church. Assign an already over worked pastor another church to take care of. Pay to build a building. Give money to pastor to help support his family.
New Model- We started training leaders with the expectation they would do the ministry. Now, we baptize the first day of our trip. We are baptizing those who they have led to Christ. We support their work, usually by training leaders. Pastors are sent to Bible school. Pastors are provided good farming land that provides all they need to feed their family and enough to sell to provide for their other needs.
Results: Godfrey has gone from pastoring 6 or 7 churches to training 12 pastors to pastor 9 churches. They have started churches are their own and have targeted new areas of need. They build their own foundations and walls and we pay to put on a metal roof.
2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.

A faithful follower of Jesus is someone who can be trusted to pass on the teachings.
Matthew 28:20 - Teaching them to do... live...
20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
It is about being changed. Salvation is by faith. Discipleship is through obedience. Find faithful followers of Jesus.
Gather- Grow-Go- Begin thinking of it as circular.
We gather in a local church in order to grow spiritually so we can go so others will gather in a local church so they can grow in order to go…
