Psalm 34:1–4 “1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

God is Big

He is the Creator of All

Acts 17:24–29 “24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.”
He has created us
He has laid out our boundaries
There is a purpose: that we would seek him,
And he is not far from any of us
We live, move and exist in him.

He Fills Space

Isaiah 66:1–2 “1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.”
1 Kings 8:27 “27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?”
The place of worship is frequently identified as the footstool of the Lord.

He Fills Time

Revelation 1:8 “8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

He is Everywhere

Psalm 139:7–10 “7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.”

Magnify the Lord

Seek Him

Psalm 40:16 “16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.”
Psalm 70:4 “4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.”

Acknowledge Him

Psalm 69:30 “30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.”

Praise Him

Acts 10:46 “46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,”

Change your Perspective

Changed Behavior

Psalm 34 “A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
Behavior = “taste, feeling discernment, sense, order, decree” (Logos Bible word study)
David changed his view of his situation, his point of view, his perspective.
The only way to diminish God is to exclude him from the domains of your life, or to minimize the places he holds in your life.
So the only way to make him bigger is to acknowledge him in more and more of your life.
In everything give thanks
Pray without ceasing
Credit him with all aspects of your life - good and evil.
