Opening Scripture:

Matthew 28:19–20 NLT
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Jesus has given us all (His Followers) a commission to spread the gospel to ALL People.
Jesus has also instructed us all to baptize anyone who wants to repent from sin, the ways of the world, and come into a relationship with Him.
We are to obey ALL of the commands of Christ, such as: Don’t repay evil for evil, if someone slaps you on the one cheek offer the other, love your enemies, and serve others rather than be served.
Spreading Jesus and serving His purpose is not always easy, but he reminds us and reassures us that He is with us always up to the point of His return.
If we are NOT spreading Jesus then what are we spreading?

Spreading Love or Hate??

John 13:34–35 NLT
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
Jesus tells us that we are to LOVE everyone as He has loved us. Love with no limitations (No Strings attached | Agape Love).
Jesus tells us by the way that we reflect His love to others we will prove to be His disciples. His Followers.
There are so many that come to Church on Sunday but fail to show the love of Jesus to those in the congregation; To those on the highways and byways; to those whom they work with or come in contact with as well.
How are you reflecting the love of Jesus?
We should be constantly asking God to help us to love people beyond their faults as He has done with us.
We should examine ourselves according to the word of God and the spirit of God through prayer to see if their is any hidden anger or hatred stored up within our hearts towards someone from our past, or our present.
We don’t spread the love of Jesus when we choose to condemn others for their sins/mistakes.
We don’t show the love of Jesus when we fail to show compassion

Spreading Truth or Gossip?

Ephesians 4:29 NLT
Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
We should not allow foul and corrupt speech come from out of our mouths. As followers of Jesus we are to be Holy as He is Holy. We are to carry ourselves in the manner that Jesus did. This is possible when we choose to repent from our Sins and completely surrender our lives over to Him.
Corrupt Speech consist of things such as: Gossip, slander, lies, half hearted truth, cursing, and etc.
Corrupt speech can be used by the enemy to cause both division and confusion.
When we choose to spread the truth we share the word of God with the understanding that God has provided us with.
When we spread the truth we share all that God has taught us in our personal walk
Spreading the word of God and sharing what God is doing within our lives this then becomes our testimony to the goodness of God through Jesus Christ His Son.
As the scriptures teach us, there is power in the word of our Testimony.
what will your testimony be?

Spreading Victory or Defeat?

As followers of Jesus and as children of God we are to hold ourselves to a certain standard..
There are a select few who act as modern day pharisees and sadducees by using the word of God to manipulate and degrade others.
The word was meant to edify us, to build us up, to only tare down that in which is not from God.
We should not be using the bible as a means to beat someone down but instead encourage them and show them the truth and the path to God through the truth.
When we manipulate scripture to get what we want or in the purpose of fulfilling our own agenda we will poise the axe of God’s judgement against us.
Walk in the Spirit of God daily with the word of God ready to be used to build someone else up.
