Scripture is Everything | 2Timothy 3:16-17

Amen scripture is everything scripture is everything my pastor in Florida once went to visit a man who was sick at the hospital where the church member and he was nearing his end of life. Everything was nearing his end of life and in my pastor went to visit him and then he just kept telling my pastor scripture is everything that guy was out of it completely, but the only thing that just kept coming to him and then he just keep looking at my pastor and telling him scripture is everything and he keeps saying it over and over it in my pasture just kind of ticked off a little can say it. Is it in my pastor turn into my pastor tells him that's the whole Foundation of our church. That's why we exist at the church because of the word of God. Yes. I know the scripture is everything the guy looked at him again and the guy told them scripture is everything. And he left the hospital and just went and was just still puzzled. Why was this man at the end of his life kept telling him that scripture is everything in the next day the guy passed away? But he wanted to God wanted to give the pastor that clear message. That scripture is everything. Yes, you're teaching book by book verse by verse and teaching the word of God, but do you really believe that scripture is everything is the Bible just a list of suggestions for us to call Laura to do or is the Bible truly everything in our lives in too many of us today. All means all and that all all means we cannot take some scriptures. We think that they do not apply and take other reason saying that they replied all of it. All of it. You have to be an integer. You have to be a year of one you need to have integrity at work at the supermarkets in your family at church when you go out with some friends to have dinner or just to go have a good time on the bowling alley you need to be one person You need to be that unit of one there should not be any different. You should not be holy your or more. Holy when you are in church, then when you are at work. You should not be more. Holy at church. Then when you are in the supermarket because the spirit of God is everywhere God. I will never leave you I will never forsake you that was not only for church it was when you were at home when you're having a good relation with your children. It was when you were at work. You have a conversation with your co-workers you having a conversation with your boss The Same Spirit still applies when you're at the coffee shop you going for a walk whatever it is. We try to find satisfaction in all different kinds of thing trying to fill up that void. We think if we do that one more thing then I'm going to find satisfaction. But God says now you just need me.
You just need me because only I can satisfy your deepest longing. Give the message in a nutshell that was a long introduction.
Can you truly have a satisfied line in the long run by the book have a satisfying life in the long run? I think I might just have to take that as a conclusion. We have a satisfying life in the long run. So let's go through it quickly. So three lessons realizing down the share with you this morning on living A Satisfied life three lessons. The first one is that you have to spend out you have to stand out. I'm thinking those from verse 14 to 17 in 2nd Timothy chapter 3. Look at verse 16 there. It says all scripture is breathed out. It's the very word of God. It is profitable for teaching for reproof. Correction in for training in righteousness. So we need to search and steady the scripture. So when we need to make a decision, why do we need to do we need to search the scripture? We need to study the scriptures. The Bible says in the multitude of counselors there safety. That means you find godly people and get wise counsel that are coming from the word of God because it is our father. We don't know all about God, but we can learn from what other believers have experience from God. All scripture is breathed out by God and the next if we need to submit to the scripture to that only we need to stand out. We need to search and steady the scripture they will soon need to submit to the scriptures. There is a wide supply of God's word today. You turn on YouTube. You can find some very good teaching on the scriptures. You have the Bible app. You can listen to it. You have commentaries that are freely available. You have multiple Bible versions. You got everything that you need really to understand the scriptures. What is locking today is submitting to the scripture cuz it's one thing to read the word. It's another to obey it's another to conform to the word. It's another to do it and Jesus says those who love me they keep my Commandments they obey my commandments. So if we do not obey God kameme doesn't matter how much reading that we've done. It is a complete waste of time. That should be our prayer every morning every morning when we wake up in the morning. We should all take a good dose of Psalm 90 verse 14. When you come you're about to start your day and you lift your hand up to heaven. And you say God satisfy me this morning with your steadfast love of God that I may rejoice and be glad all my days. Do you think God will do that? You bet. He will Jeremiah 31 verse 25 for I will let us by the weary soul and every languishing soul, I will. How many times you get empty how many times you were leaked? That's what he says be filled with the spirit because all of us.
We are always up the mail when we leaky we're going now because today I will replenish you if you just come to me for I will satisfy the weary soul and every language thing. So I will replenish that you don't want to be replenished. You want to be feel. Turn to God Psalm 34 Verse 8 to 10 love this one. You ready?
