Isaiah 42:10 (NASB95)
10 Sing to the Lord a new song, Sing His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it. You islands, and those who dwell on them.
God seems to see us as islands of people.
We have a world that seems to be falling apart all around us.
When Empires fall it’s islands of sanity that are the hope for humanity.
When our gut is telling us something is about to collapse what are we anointed to do?
We can get overwhelmed when all we focus on all the big things we can not change.
When our worlds around us are changing or failing, what do we do!?
Islands are the answer.
Anxiety:
All anxiety comes from trying to control what you can not control.
Prove this wrong.
What is the best way to deal with anxiety?
Look to what you do have authority and power over.
The empire of this country is in danger of collapsing.
What do we do then?
We look to what we have authority and power to do.
What did Jesus do when Rome was about fall.
What did Jesus do when the Hebraic system was divided and about to collapse?
The Pharisees were dedicated to the law.
The Zealots were preparing for war with Rome.
The Sadducees were partnering with Rome to benefit themselves.
The Essenes are the ones who hid the scrolls and why we have our bible today.
Jesus did not fix or lead any of the existing groups of his time.
Jesus did something that had never been seen before.
John 17:9 (NKJV)
9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.
This is Jesus sticking within the boundaries of His authority and that was at the time His disciples.
Island are people who are His.
Jesus created an island of disciples that changed world.
Jesus only led the people that His Father sent to Him.
Jesus created an island of people that He was given the authority to lead.
Unplanned Islands
God’s plan.
Sometime you crash land on an island.
Paul was sent to an island by way of shipwreck and bring the kingdom of God to the island people.
John was on an island of prisoners and during his time there wrote the book of revelations, and brought the kingdom of God to that island.

Your words were big hints to the islands you are called to.
The word to our church is a huge hint to what we are called to.
Hungry Remnant”

Expand our perspectives.
We often get stuck with two options and we are fighting over what one of those options are the right ones. When God has many more options that He wants to show us if we were willing to see beyond what we see.
Gods masterpiece is our minds. The mind is a gift designed to carry the intelligence of God.
He wants to get out of his echo chamber.
His life's passion is to inspire people to go beyond what they are familiar with.
our citizenship is in heaven,
It should be evident where your loyalties lie to what you are a citizen of.
How we live should reflect the culture we are from.
Our loyalty should reflect that we are of the citizenship of Christ because we are loyal to Him.

Islands of Heaven
From heaven to earth. We are not called to be earthly, reaching to heaven.
Psalm 133 (NASB95)
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever.
Sung Han
You have heard it said that being to heavenly minded makes you no earthly good.
He says “Be so heavenly-minded that you are earthly awesome!”
Many people try to ascend, but we need to descend as Jesus did, and he sent us to do.
From heaven to earth. We are not called to be earthly, reaching to heaven.
His story about not feeling worship and it felt like karaoke.
He was driving in his car and a clouds showed up in his car.
What part of heaven are you sent to bring to earth?
Your testimonies are hints.
Your trials that have not yet become testimonies are hints.
Your words for the years are hints.
Your strongest clue is your identity and purpose.
Has God told you who you are and what your purpose is?
Sent from above. Our identities are sent from above in Him, from Him, as His image to make the earth His dream.
We do this by islands of people and purpose around God’s Identity and then our identities and purpose.
We are called to be islands of people who know we have been sent to bring heaven to earth.
We know in what way we are called to do that by our identities and purpose that God has given us.
Activations:
Jesus, would you show me what part of heaven am I to bring to earth?
Jesus, would You show me a way I have not thought of to bring heaven to earth?
