We can impart only that which we receive from Christ; and we can receive only as we impart to others. As we continue imparting, we continue to receive; and the more we impart, the more we shall receive.
Ellen Gould White
Matthew 15:32 (ASV)
And Jesus called unto him his disciples, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat: and I would not send them away fasting, lest haply they faint on the way.
Explain: A lot of people followed Jesus because of what He was preaching and doing. They traveled with Him 3 days and got really hungry.
Are we that devoted to following Christ? They continued to follow even in hard times. Can you do that?

Continue What?
John 8:31 (ASV)
Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;
Jesus was talking to His disciples, but this applies to us as well.
We must continue in His Word. That means Studying and Living it!
John 15:9 (ASV)
Even as the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you: abide ye in my love.
We must continue in His love.
Jesus alludes to how much God the Father loves us. Nothing is stronger than His love.
Then, He says He has the same amount of love towards us!
We must continue to love Christ and love others. Also, we must love ourselves too! Look at yourself through His eyes.
God IS LOVE.
2 Timothy 3:14–17 (ASV)
But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
Paul is telling Timothy to remember and continue the things in which he was taught, which is the Word.
If he does this, it will make him wiser.
The Word is good for shaping the person we should be in Christ.
Angels are the dispensers and administrators of the divine beneficence towards us.
John Calvin (French Reformer)
Hebrews 13:1–2 (ASV)
Let love of the brethren continue. Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
We must continue to love our neighbors. That means complete strangers as well as our friends and family.
If we continue this, God will see it. He sends angels to us and one person we show love to could very well be an angel.
Luke 18:1 (ASV)
And he spake a parable unto them to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint;
We must continue in prayer.
Pray without ceasing.
Prayer is simply communicating with God. Honestly. Raw. Humbly.
You can do more than pray, after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed.
John Bunyan
Acts 2:42 (ASV)
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.
The apostles continued to meet together, study together, serve together.
We must do the same thing. Continue to go to Church and be with your Church family. It is vital in the growing of your faith.
If any of you are in positions where you can enjoy Christian fellowship, and you have an opportunity of earning ten times as much money in another position where you must give up that fellowship, do not do it.

Luke 23:41–43 (ASV)
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said, Jesus, remember me when thou comest in thy kingdom. And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.
In our first paradise in Eden there was a way to go out but no way to go in again. But as for the heavenly paradise, there is a way to go in, but no way to go out again.
Richard Baxter (Puritan Divine)
