Luke 22: 39-37 Los Sunday Sermon

1.A time for prayer 39-31

-ethos a cultures fundemantl character or essence, his prayer life was constant not reactive

-Are we known to go into a place a pray like jesus did?

-is a prayer a weird interaction or am i giving thanks in it and throught it

-God wants your heart in prayers not just the knees

-praur fro not a direct temption that would lure theminto sin keep them from wromg and sinful options.

-temptation and trail will allow it to see what is your ethos what is in your heart,

-communion with god should lead to reatoinship with the chruch dont rely on other fpr your reltionship with God.

-Gods relatoinship justifies and the church fam reltionship helps sanctify

2.A time to be strengthened

-Hebrews chapter 5: 7-9

-it was the will of the lord to crush him and his will to propser him to give him the inherticance which is us and the world

why did jesus have to get this cup, God had to recieve this cup

-he Got the full expression of wrath of God

-jesus had a voilent storm internally

-in the agony he prayed more ergarly and ernastly, turned it up-

jis desire tp fulfill the will of god was more than what the will of his manhood, no mN WOULD AHVE MADE IT OR COULD DO IT

3.A time for urgency

-the diciples should have apid more utgrncy

-when there is sorrow fraw more ugenrly to god in prayer,

armor to to sheild us so we can rpayer, we fight in our prayer for life

-”Prayer is the breath of faith”
