Introduction: I have been Criticized for Stand Up for the Church Living for God by a Family Member and a Pastor. They tried to say that I was sinning.

I am in Good Company, Because the Prophets in the Old Testament Were Persecuted for Pointing the Sins of the Israelites.

I. God’s People Need to Turn Away from Their Wickedness, Sins

A. God’s People Can Humble Them Selves

B. God’s People Can Pray

C. God’s People Can Seek God’s Face

D. But If They Don’t Turn From Their Wicked Way

E. God Will Not Hear From Heaven

F. God Will Not Forgive Their Sins

G. God Will Not Heal Their Land, Our Country

2 Chronicles 7:14 “14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

II. King Josiah Made a Covenant With Israel to Keep the Words of the Book of the Covenant That Was Found in the House of the Lord

A. He Pledge to Walk After the Lord

B. To Keep God’s Commandments

C. To Keep God’s Testimonies

D. To Keep God’s Statues

E. With All His Heart, His Soul and To Perform the Words of the Covenant Which Are Written in the Book of the Law

2 Chronicles 34:29–31 “29 Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem. 30 And the king went up into the house of the Lord, and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the Lord. 31 And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.”
2 Chronicles 34:32–33 “32 And he caused all that were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand to it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers. 33 And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were present in Israel to serve, even to serve the Lord their God. And all his days they departed not from following the Lord, the God of their fathers.”

III. I Believe That the 120 in the Upper Room, Became in One Accord by Repent of Their Sins

Acts 2:1 “1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”

A. I Know That Before I Receive that Baptism of the Holy Spirit, I Repent of My Sins

B. Then They Received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit

Acts 2:2–4 “2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

C. Peter Said to Repent and Be Baptized for the Remission of Sins

D. Then Peter Said That You Will Receive the the Gift, Baptism of the Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit

Acts 2:38–39 “38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
