Why I Believe Jesus Will Return!

King James Version (Acts 1:9-11)

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

English Standard Version (Revelation 1:7-8)

7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Here tonight I would like to give you 3 reasons why I know that Jesus will return, and I do believe soon! This is not mans perspective. This is not even a denominational perspective. This is God’s Word so therefore it is His perspective!

1. I believe Jesus is going to return because He is alive!

i. History proves that He is alive!

HISTORY PROVES THAT HE IS STILL ALIVE!

ii. The present proves that He is alive!

God’s not dead He is alive. God’s not dead he is alive. God’s not dead He is alive. I can feel Him all over me.

I can feel Him in my hands. I can feel Him in my feet. I can feel Him in the church. I can feel Him in the street. I can feel Him in the air. I can feel Him everywhere. I can felt Him all over me!

iii. The future will prove that He is alive!

7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

I BELIEVE JESUS IS GOING TO RETURN BECAUSE HE IS ALIVE!

I don’t only believe He is going to return because He is alive, I also;

2. I believe Jesus is going to return because He said He would!

Its as simple as that pastor? Yes its as simple as that!

If He said it I believe it!

God is not a man that He should lie!

i. First of all, He said He would return for His church!

King James Version (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so uthem also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore lcomfort one another with these words.

ii. Secondly, He said He would return with His church!

And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

I believe Jesus is going to return because He said He would! First for His church then with His church! Hallelujah!

I don’t only believe He is going to return becuase He said He would, I also;

3. I believe Jesus is going to return because the signs of the times point to His soon return!

We are in the last of the last days! The Bible is being fulfilled right before our very eyes!

**The great falling away! - The Bible says it is going to happen!

Give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils!

**The building animosity against the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. COME IN LIKE A FLOOD!

The days of Noah and the days of Lot.

There’s a blessed time that’s coming, coming soon, It may be evening, morning, or at noon, The wedding of the bride, united with the Groom, We shall see the King when He comes.

We shall see the King, we shall see the King, We shall see the King when He comes; He is coming in pow’r, we’ll hail the blessed hour, We shall see the King when he comes.

Are you ready should the Savior call today? Would Jesus say, “Well done” or “Go away”? “My home is for the pure, the vile can never stay”; We shall see the King when He comes.

Oh, my brother, are you ready for the call? To crown your Savior king and Lord of all? The kingdoms of this world shall soon before Him fall, We shall see the King when He comes.
