The Possibilities of Faith:
The Possibilities of Faith:
And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
The Schemes of the Enemy
The Schemes of the Enemy
We have an enemy, and if there is a enemy it is important to know how he works, and what power He has
so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.
this is the base of how satan works
“Outwitted” that is the only power he has.
The word “outwitted” -
2. pleonekteo (πλεονεκτέω, 4122), lit., “to seek to get more” (pleon, “more,” echo, “to have”); hence, “to get an advantage of, to take advantage of.”
To Take advantage of -
Older siblings always do this to younger ones
It is the tactic of the enemy to take advantage over believers because He is a defeated enemy
He uses:
Hurts
Anger
un-forgiveness
Bitterness
low self esteem
pain
Don’t be ignorant - top be ignorant is to not know
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;
because you have rejected knowledge,
I reject you from being a priest to me.
And since you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.
Doubt and Fear: two weapons of Satan
Doubt and Fear: two weapons of Satan
To trust in something mean complete reliance on something
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
The enemy tries to cause you to doubt
It is hard not to fear when you are doubting God, and His word
This was the attack in the Garden
DOUBT GOD’S GOODNESS
DOUBT GOD’S WORD
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
He is like a roaring lion- He isn’t a roaring lion- We serve the Lion of the Tribe of Judah
Who defeat the devil and Gave us the Victory
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
You are an overcomer Because of Jesus Christ
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.
Don’t say what you See, Say what You Believe
Don’t say what you See, Say what You Believe
David sais Psalm 118:17
I shall not die, but I shall live,
and recount the deeds of the Lord.
This was His declaration while being chased by an army our to Kill Him
Confess Faith:
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Faith makes it so you aren’t put to Shame
Begin to Worship and Praise with Thanksgiving:
Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away.
I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the humble hear and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together!
I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints,
for those who fear him have no lack!
The young lions suffer want and hunger;
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Come, O children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
What man is there who desires life
and loves many days, that he may see good?
Keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from speaking deceit.
Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry.
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
He keeps all his bones;
not one of them is broken.
Affliction will slay the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
Speak to the Mountain not About the Mountain:
Speak to the Mountain not About the Mountain:
the Mountain represents the thing is life that are too difficult for you
Things to great for a person
Sickness
Depression
Bitterness
Financial issue
Anything that is opposed to the man or woman of God
Speak to the Mountains who God is!
Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the Lord and spread it before the Lord. And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said: “O Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned above the cherubim, you are the God, you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth. Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear; open your eyes, O Lord, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to mock the living God. Truly, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands and have cast their gods into the fire, for they were not gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone. Therefore they were destroyed. So now, O Lord our God, save us, please, from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, O Lord, are God alone.”
FAITH IS ASSURANCE
FAITH IS ASSURANCE
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
IF YOU ARE HOPING FOR THE LORD TO COME THROUGH, THERE IS AN ASSURANCE
I waited patiently for the Lord;
he inclined to me and heard my cry.
He drew me up from the pit of destruction,
out of the miry bog,
and set my feet upon a rock,
making my steps secure.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
and put their trust in the Lord.
Blessed is the man who makes
the Lord his trust,
who does not turn to the proud,
to those who go astray after a lie!
You have multiplied, O Lord my God,
your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us;
none can compare with you!
I will proclaim and tell of them,
yet they are more than can be told.

He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
and put their trust in the Lord.
Because of What God does through your life, others will see and trust Him
this is the power of a Testimony of Faith!
So now, O Lord our God, save us, please, from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, O Lord, are God alone.”
The attack became a Display of God’s goodness to all the Nations
No one could take the enemy out But God!
