What my surgeon declared.
How God healed me.

The Bible is full of people who had the odds stacked against them.

1. Moses
leading the people of Israel out of slavery.
2. Joseph
going from a slave to a prisoner to prime minister.
3. Gideon
defeating the Midianites with an army of 300.
4. David
defeating Goliath.
5. Elijah
overcoming the 450 prophets of Baal.
6. Esther
saving her people from genocide.
7. Daniel
surviving the lions den.
8. Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego
not having even a hair lost from being thrown in the fiery furnace.
God permits what He hates to achieve what He loves!
Some of the best things about our lives how come from the worst things we’ve gone through.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

Talk to Job in the middle of his story—10 children dead, his body covered with excruciating boils, feeling as if God abandoned him, and friends haranguing him. Job even says: “Why did I not die at birth?” (Job 3:11).

Job 42:5 “I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.”
