Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load.”

John 15:12 “12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

How are we deceived?

Pride

Not looking like Christ

Earthly Wisdom

Passive in the commands, loving ourselves more

Why can’t we keep on sinning?

We practice righteousness because the “seed of God” lives in us.

We love God

We understand the sacrifice that was made for us

If we continue to practice sin, we do not know Christ

What do we do when we sin?

We should repent

We should have hope: Jesus came to defeat the works of the Devil

What if you do not feel the weight of your sin?
