6 So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

God wants to bring you to a new level. but we must understand God is the promoter, it not us, not our works, not our ability, not our position, not our talent, but it is God himself. He can lift one up, while bringing another down. but if we humble ourselves realize its Him, He is waiting to level us up.
