God’s people are empowered to proclaim Jesus boldly (22-31).

22-24 - Jesus’s life in the Gospels!

We can live Boldly, because we have Christ’s imputed righteousness on us, THEREFORE Boldly proclaim Jesus! (Prov. 28:1, Rom 1:16).
25-28 - King Jesus is better than King David!

2. God’s people are empowered to call others to Repentance (37-41)

Repent - “denotes a change of mind, will, or actions.” To turn. True call of the gospel (Mk 1:15).
Baptism - Along w/ the Lord’s Supper is a Ordinance (Sacraments instituted by Christ). NT Sign. “ It is the public sign or symbol of what has taken place on the inside. It is an important step of obedience for all believers, and should closely follow conversion” - MacArthur. Show not save!
3. God’s people are empowered to live together as one (42-47)
The Big 4 - Needed to be a true church! v.43 and 47 - the results.
We can only be truly judged as a church by following what Scripture (God) says!.
