What do you think about when you think about the word Supernatural?
Often the word supernatural evokes images of lucky circumstances, coincidences, supernatural occurrences that just kind of happen but don’t really impact anything in a significant, practical, or reliable way.
We have a supernatural, active, practical, and personally-involved God!
This message is going to sound almost depressing at first, but don’t worry, I’m commanded to preach Good News to you!
Say this, “It’s gonna be good.”
The heart of this sermon from the Heart of God is God saying,
“Trust Me & Believe for me do the practical-supernatural and miraculous in your life - because I can, not because you NEED it right now - Get practice. You will need it in the days to come.” - God

The Days to Come:

Matthew 24:5–14 NKJV
For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
What are you going to do when the world is in this state? When wheelbarrows full of hard-earned money can’t buy a loaf of bread, when the earth isn’t producing crops & famine sets in. When you find that your life is on the line for believing in Jesus?
We had a bit of a trial run with a worldwide “Pandemic” in 2020 when the world shut down.
I remember in 1999 there was so much fear because when the calendar changed to 2000, the thought was that all the computer systems would crash & the world would grind to a halt - Y2K
People stopped tithing and giving and doing the commandments of God & relied on their own ability to collect what they needed.
Some pastors encouraged this and even told their congregation members to stop returning the tithe to the Lord so they could buy guns and ammunition and Survival Food Stores.
Does your God get weak with a computer crash?
Does your God get weakened with a worldwide monetary crash or with the president you don’t want getting elected?
Y2K is not greater than YHWH!
So what should we do instead?
Truly believe in & rely on the God of the Bible, His miracle working power & His unshakable perfect character - God is the Shepherd of His flock and the Father of His Children.
We can’t continue to only believe God to give us what we want & to make us feel better - We need a supernatural, miracle-working God in the daily mix with us!

2 Scriptural Things to do:

Psalm 61:2 NKJV
From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psalm 20:7 NKJV
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

The God of the Bible is SAME God Today!

Malachi 3:6 a(NKJV)
“For I am the Lord, I do not change;
Hebrews 13:8 NKJV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
God is perfect. There is nothing to change when something is already perfect.
2 Timothy 1:12 NKJV
For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
What have you committed to & put completely in the hands of the Lord?

The Miracles of the Bible are available today

When God’s children needed food & water in the wilderness (Nehemiah 9:15)
When tax money was needed - (Matthew 17:27)
When God’s People needed to win a crucial battle, He made the sun stand still (Joshua 10:13)
When the Israelites were not allowed to Worship in Egypt God destroyed Egypt and released his people with riches and substance (Exodus 12:35-38)

Positioning Yourself for the Supernatural:

James 2:26 NKJV
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
We can say that we believe God until our lips fall off, but do our actions confirm what we are saying?
1 Kings 17:1–9 NKJV
And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.” Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook. And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.”
Are you positioned for a miracle?
Elijah had to be in the right place to experience the provision of God.
Returning Tithes - Creates a contract with God
Malachi 3:10–11 NKJV
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
Go where God tells you to go. Do what God tells you to do. Be who God tells you to be.

Just One Thing:

Don’t freak out or rely on yourself - Trust in your supernatural God of miracles!
