v. 11-12 | What does a person do when it seems as though the favor of God is not on them?
What is the purpose of discipline? The end goal of change in action.
v. 13-18 | A beatitude set out in verse 13 reminds us that the one who searches for wisdom will gain understanding.
We see in verses 14 and 15 that there is great value in having wisdom just by itself. Better returns than money.
16-18 points us to the fact that not only is wisdom valuable by itself but that it leads to good things as well.
Fullness of life

v. 19-20 | The same wisdom that we seek is the wisdom that God “founded the earth” and “established the heavens”. There is an abundance of wisdom that is available.
