The sermon this Sunday is from John 1:15, the next statement in John’s Prologue. In verse 14, we heard John and the other Apostles bear witness to the truth they saw and experienced in Jesus of Nazareth, the Incarnate Son. Now in verse 15, we hear again the witness of the Baptist. Of particular importance is the testimony from John the Baptist that Jesus ranks before me. This is what all true believers must confess about Jesus. Who is this man Jesus to you? Does he rank before you?
