Jesus has given us some commands not to be greedy
not to worry about your daily needs
to put the kingdom of God first
sell your possessions give to the poor and follow Jesus
where your treasure is there will be your heart
now Jesus will give to command to watch and wait for His return
be ready when He comes back for His bride
be awake, be sober, be watching
read Luke 12 35-48.

in America we would say roll up your sleeves
be ready to work
have your tools layed out
Have the lights on be ready to open the door for when the Master returns

when a surgeon comes into the or everything is prepared for him
the anesthesiologist is standing at the head of the patient
the nurses have all the instruments that will be needed ready at hand for when the dr calls for them
everything is prepared
Jesus is saying the same thing when I come you be absolutely prepared
the bride waiting for her groom to come is prepared
she does not know when he will be there
the groom does not know when he will come. it depends on the father saying to the son go get your bride
V 37 Happy/ blessed. happiness is being ready
watching for the return of Jesus
Jesus gives a great promise here
those who are watching and ready and prepared for His return
Jesus Himself will serve them the servants will recline at the table and Jesus will do the serving
Jesus came to serve not to be served
and He will do the same for those who are waiting and watching for His return
but how can we know when he will return?

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need of anything to be written to you.
Paul is reminding the people of what he has taught them about the end times
For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.
While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman who is pregnant, and they will never escape.
But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief,
for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness;
so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be awake and sober.
For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.
But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God has not appointed us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
turn to Revelation 6 1-8.

the Church and Holy Spirit will not be here to to stop the demonic takeover

as we look at this world today

this country is so divided that there is absolute hatred for the other side
hatred of the Jewish people
and with all the deception of unrighteousness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
And for this reason God sends upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness.
people are so delusional that mutilating children is cheered
the inflation that this and many other country's are facing
unrest in the middle east, Venezuela, Europe, Russia and Ukraine, China and Taiwan, Everybody against the U.S. North and south Korea
many wars in Africa
the world is being pushed into a wanting a global leader that will fix all of the problems
we don’t know when Jesus will come for His church
but we can look at the thunderhead barreling down on us
but our task is to be ready when Christ calls
to be on alert for the trumpet call
Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the corruptible inherit the incorruptible.
Behold, I tell you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
For this corruptible must put on the incorruptible, and this mortal must put on immortality.
But when this corruptible puts on the incorruptible, and this mortal puts on immortality, then will come about the word that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.
are you looking every day for the rapture
are you ready to meet Jesus
is your lifestyle such as it is acceptable to God
Jesus has been warning about greed
seeking his kingdom
Don’t worry I’ve got this
the biggest warning is are you saved ?
when you stand before a Holy, Holy, Holy God will you have sin staining your life?
even if you only sinned once per day for your entire life
that is 365 X 60 years
has that sin account been paid for?
the wages of sin is death
“But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes,
and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless.
“Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
this man came in his own clothes. Isaiah tells us that our own righteousness is but filthy rags
this man tried to get into the kingdom in his own good deeds
he was noticed right off as wearing beggars rags instead of the spotless wedding garments
will you be wearing the righteousness that is
provided by Christ
will you be raptured with the Church/ the bride of Christ
or will Jesus say at the judgement I never knew you
but I've been to church my whole life
Have you had a Godly hatred of your sin?
have you cried out to Jesus to save you?
